V0 Visualizer is a free, independent Last.fm visualizer that turns your scrobble history into a dashboard: ranked artists, albums and tracks over any time range, a timeline of how your taste moved, rediscovery of what came back into rotation, an artwork mosaic, achievements and a global leaderboard. Last.fm records every track you play but shows you very little of it back — this reads that same history, using the Last.fm account you already have.

Why read your stats from Last.fm rather than one streaming service
A yearly recap from a single streaming service only knows what you played there, and it resets every January. Last.fm sits underneath all of it: Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, a desktop player, even a record you tagged by hand all land in the same scrobble log. That log keeps growing for as long as you scrobble, which makes it the only honest record of what you actually listen to.
V0 Visualizer reads that log, calculates the charts, and enriches them with artwork so the result is worth looking at. It does not edit or delete anything on your profile. The one thing it can write is a scrobble from a listening room — off by default, opt-in per account, and reviewable track by track before it is sent.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I see my Last.fm stats?
- Choose "Continue with Last.fm" and approve the authorization screen. Your dashboard is built from the scrobbles Last.fm already stores, so your full history — not just the last few weeks — is there as soon as you connect. There is no import step and nothing to upload.
- Is V0 Visualizer free?
- Yes. Dashboards, charts, achievements, the leaderboard, TasteMatch, listening rooms and story exports are all free. V0 Visualizer is an independent project built on the public Last.fm and Spotify APIs, and there is no paid tier.
- Do I need a Last.fm account?
- Yes. Every chart here is calculated from Last.fm scrobbles, so a Last.fm profile is required. If you do not scrobble yet, connect Last.fm to Spotify, Apple Music or your desktop player first and your history will start building immediately.
- How far back does the data go?
- As far back as your Last.fm history goes. If you have scrobbled since 2010, the charts and the timeline cover every one of those years — you can switch between 7 days, 1 month, 3 months, 12 months and all time on any chart.
- Can I see stats for another Last.fm user?
- Yes. Public Last.fm profiles can be opened without signing in, the Friends page shows what the people you follow on Last.fm are playing, and TasteMatch scores how much any two profiles have in common.
- Does V0 Visualizer change anything on my Last.fm account?
- Not unless you switch it on. Everything in the dashboard is read-only: it reads your scrobbles and never edits or deletes them. The single exception is V0Rooms, where you can opt in to scrobbling the tracks you hear in a room back to Last.fm — that setting is off by default, and each track lands in a review queue you can correct or skip before it is sent.
- What is the difference between this and Last.fm's own charts?
- Last.fm gives you ranked lists. V0 Visualizer adds what it does not: a timeline of how your taste shifted year by year, rediscovery of tracks you drifted back to, an artwork mosaic you can share, achievements and a global leaderboard, taste comparison between two listeners, and live rooms where several people listen to the same queue.
- Does it work on mobile?
- Yes. The dashboard is responsive, and V0 Visualizer is installable as a PWA — add it to your home screen and it opens like an app, with a share target for sending links straight into it.
