What V0 Visualizer is
V0 Visualizer is a free, independent Last.fm visualizer. It reads the scrobble history Last.fm already stores for your account and turns it into something worth looking at: ranked artists, albums and tracks, a timeline of how your taste moved, rediscovery of what came back into rotation, artwork mosaics, achievements and a leaderboard, live listening rooms, taste comparisons and export-ready story images. It is a free third-party client, not operated by Last.fm.
What it includes
One account, one Last.fm connection, and every surface below reading the same history.
- The dashboard
- Now playing and recent tracks, ranked artists, albums and tracks across 7 days to all time, lifetime totals, a timeline of how your taste moved year by year, rediscovery of tracks that came back into rotation, a shareable artwork mosaic, and a detail view behind every row.
- Achievements and the leaderboard
- Scrobble milestones from 100 to 500,000, activity and onboarding badges, and hidden ones you can only stumble into. The global leaderboard ranks listeners by scrobbles and reputation.
- V0Rooms
- Live rooms with a shared DJ queue, synced playback, chat with slash commands and mentions, reactions and scheduled events. Queue from your own Last.fm top or loved tracks, and optionally scrobble what you hear back to Last.fm.
- TasteMatch
- Scores how much two listeners' libraries overlap, surfaces the shared favourites and the rare picks only the two of them have, and reads how obscure your artists are against the wider audience.
- Story Composer
- Renders a 1080×1920 story image of a week, month or year of listening — albums, artists or tracks, your accent colour, your chosen length — queued in the background and downloadable from My Files.
- The Wall
- A community feed of what people are listening to right now, built from public activity and the artwork behind it.
- Friends
- What the people you follow on Last.fm are playing, side by side with your own charts.
- The Workshop
- Where experimental tools land before they graduate to their own surface — Story Composer and My Files live here today.
Who builds it
V0 Visualizer is an independent project, built and run in Turkey outside of any company. There is no growth team behind it and no investor waiting on a paid tier — release notes, bug reports and feature requests all move through the public Discord server, which is also the fastest way to reach the person who wrote the code.
How it treats your account
Reads by default, writes only on request
The dashboard never edits or deletes anything on Last.fm. Room scrobbling is the one write path, it ships switched off, and each track waits in a review queue you control before it is sent.
Free, with no paywalled tier
Every surface is available to every account. There is no premium plan holding back the charts you came for.
Your history is yours
You can request a copy of what V0 stores or delete your account outright — both are documented in the privacy notice, not buried in support tickets. Credentials are stored encrypted, and revoking access from Last.fm cuts the connection immediately.
Built in the open with its users
Release notes, bug reports and feature requests all move through the public Discord rather than a closed roadmap.

- Who makes V0 Visualizer?

- Is V0 Visualizer affiliated with Last.fm?
- No. V0 Visualizer is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Last.fm. It is a third-party client that reads the public Last.fm API for the account you connect.
- How do I sign in?
- With "Continue with Last.fm". Authorization happens on Last.fm's own screen, so V0 never sees your Last.fm password, and you can revoke its access from your Last.fm account settings at any time.
- Can V0 Visualizer change my Last.fm profile?
- Not unless you ask it to. The dashboard only reads, and nothing in it edits or deletes your scrobbles. The single write path is V0Rooms scrobbling: off by default, opt-in per account, and every track passes through a review queue where you can correct or skip it before it is sent to Last.fm.
- How does it differ from Last.fm's own charts?
- Last.fm gives you ranked lists. V0 Visualizer adds the parts it does not: a timeline of how your taste shifted, rediscovery of dormant tracks, artwork mosaics built for sharing, achievements and a leaderboard, taste comparison between two listeners, and live rooms where several people listen to the same queue.
- What does it cost?
- Nothing. Dashboards, achievements, the leaderboard, TasteMatch, V0Rooms and Story Composer are all free, with no paywalled tier.
- Where does the data come from?
- Listening data comes from the public Last.fm API for the account you connect. Artwork is enriched from Spotify's public API so charts, mosaics and story images have the right cover. Nothing is scraped.
